What is coaching?
Coaching is a supportive process to uncover your true potential. It is the cheapest and fastest way to get you where you want to go. The most expensive way is to learn through experience. Working with a coach will save you years of unnecessary confusion, struggle and trial and error. Coaching provides a safe and non-judgmental space to focus on what you want and what’s keeping you from getting there.
How is coaching different from therapy?
While therapy can be helpful and complementary to coaching, they do not serve the same purposes. Therapy is often past-focused and helps clients with processing discomfort, emotional healing and relief from mental pain. Coaching is future-focused and empowers clients to grow, evolve and take decisive action desired goals and results.
What can I expect from coaching with you?
As your coach, my intention is to show you all your blind spots and help you transform. I will tell you what you need to grow, not necessarily what you want to hear. The difference is profound and you can't get honest feedback like that anywhere.
What does "integrative" mean?
I like to say that everyone is unique and different things work for different people. Because I have personally experienced, trained and supported people through many different healing modalities, I have a wealth of resources and networks to tap into that I can't wait to share in your wellness journey.
Can you be my doctor and help me with my health problems?
I've been dealing with this for a while... is coaching really going to work for me?
I totally hear you, I was feeling stuck for the longest time too! I actually talked to many coaches before I made my first investment. But when I made the commitment and set the intention to be open and learn, I was so grateful and excited when I saw how quickly I shifted and how much clarity I got. It all comes down to your goals and priorities and how much you want them! Plus, the self-doubt is a good thing. Because it is your inner critic talking and you are in exactly the right place for us to work on it together so that it doesn’t keep holding you back from doing the things you really want and are meant to do. I know we haven't met yet, but I believe in you! And if you are super motivated, it's going to happen even quicker, I promise.
I've tried to meditate, and it just doesn't work for me! What do I do?
You may think that it's impossible to quiet your mind. I know many people have a hard time when they try to sit still (including myself before) and quickly get uncomfortable as many thoughts come through. However, mindfulness is not just about meditation. I want to help you experience mindfulness without having to go on a meditation retreat. If you are open to trying, I think you may be pleasantly surprised. And a busy mind is actually a good thing! It means you are alive and your brain is working hard with a lot of energy to be productive that through mindfulness, you can learn to redirect to something more useful instead.
How much time is this going to take?
It's not about the time but rather how committed you are. I believe wholeheartedly in your success and will share proven processes and tools to get you where you want to go. That being said, I can't do the work for you. So come prepared, complete the exercises and be open to new ideas as you stretch and grow.
I have a hard time staying on track, what happens if I can't do the work?
I know accountability is tough and that's why it's important to meet weekly to check-in. As humans, we are social creatures and wired to connect. You do not have to do this alone and I want you to know that I am on your side, rooting for you and will set you up for success. If something comes up, we'll work together to get you where you want to go. Clients find coaching to be a fun journey, not an additional chore on your to-do list. I got you.
What about privacy and confidentiality?
Coaching is a confidential process and what we discuss will not be shared with others. Your personal information is always protected and no one even has to know you have a coach! In our group coaching sessions, we set an intention to create and hold a safe space so that our amazing community can support each other through this vital process of quieting the inner critic.
