Do you love yourself? All the time? Even when things are tough and when you make a mistake? Do you feel like you are less worthy when you mess up? Because you should have everything figured out always, right? That's what our inner critic likes to tell us, at least.
So many of us have been conditioned to look outside of us for feedback that we've lost sight of who we are. We think we are good only when others send us compliments or praise, and we question and doubt ourselves when we receive anything less.
I invite you to take a moment and tune out the chatter. Pause and be open to what you're feeling in the moment. Accept everything as it is. Knowing that whatever you're going through, there is likely another human being who is or has gone through the exact same thing. And be gentle with yourself.
What does love mean to you? What does love feel like? How do you want to be loved and accepted? Listen to yourself and your inner knowing. Don't dismiss it. You are too important to ignore. Put yourself first. It's not selfish, it is the only way.
